I am a registered architec and urban planner (Spain), Master in Landscape Architeture (Harvard), with more than 20 years of experience. I have worked to foster environmental sustainability and economic efficiency, while improvind landscape quality. With years of experience in cross-cultural, multidisciplinary, team-orientated projects, I have extensive experience working with local authorities from both private practice and the public sector.

MY PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IS FOCUS ON establishing positive linkages between environmental, landscape, cultural and sociO-EConomic regeneration.

I have both practical design and implementation experience, and deep knowledge of local and regional governmental processes, policies and regulatory responsabilities on environment and territorial sustainability.

PLAN FOR THE HUERTA OF VALENCIA

The Plan for the Huerta of Valencia proposes the protection and management of 11,500 hectares of agricultural land of great historical value, heritage, agricultural, environmental and visual assests in the Metropolitan Area of Valencia. It is worth mentioning that the population of Valencia has played a key role in the development of this Plan through a Public Process of Participation focused on communicating the historical values of this ancient landscape as well as on discussing about how to manage it in the future.

SERPIS RIVER CORRIDOR REGIONAL PARK

The Plan for the Serpis river corridor includes its final stretch towards its mouth in the Mediterranean Sea, between the towns of Alcoi and Gandia, with a lenght of 40 km and an area of approximately 11.000 Ha. The goal of this Plan is creating a vision of future that combines development and conservation, shared by all the municipalities in located in the watershed.  The Plan defines a Masterplan, Programs, Landscape projects and Regulation to foster economic development and tourism, increase inhabitant quality of life and conserves and improve natural environment by actions and regulations.
